Shellharbour City Council and the Links Shell Cove works with local volunteers to play a valuable role in the operations at the Links Shell Cove.
Volunteering gives you a sense of ownership and belonging to your club and is a great way to meet new members and the staff. Our volunteers build new skills and meet new people while helping with day-to-day tasks, be part of our golf course projects and assist with major golf events.
Whether you can spare an hour or two or give your time more regularly, any assistance you can provide is always greatly appreciated and we are excited to see our relationship continue to grow, doing the things we love.
Where can I volunteer at the Links Shell Cove?
Course Maintenance:
Assisting the course maintenance team led by Steve Crawford with minor ad-hoc activities such as:
- Filling divots
- General maintenance of gardens and surrounds
- Working bees
Golf Operations:
Volunteering with the Golf Operations team lead by Peter Nascimento and is usually required for major golf events with tasks that include:
- Starting fields
- Spotting
- Help navigating the course
- BBQ’s
