Manage the daily operations and activities of the Shellharbour Visitor Information Centre to deliver timely and courteous visitor information to customers via telephone, email and over the counter in a prompt and efficient manner. You will also update relevant information on tourism websites & social media sites and be accountable for the administering, monitoring and reporting of the tourism information function.
Reporting to the Tourism Manager, you will part of the Business and Investment team which has an established unique team culture and maintain a strong collaborative and professional work ethic. They are supportive and ensure their decision-making is aligned to Council and Community expectations.
Casual positions will work on Saturday and/or Sunday and may be offered additional shifts on weekdays to cover periods of leave.
The temporary role is part time to work Thursday and Friday and have availability to work weekend shifts. This opportunity is for a period of up to 12 months.
