Labourer Cemeteries and Rock Pool

Location: Shellharbour NSW

 

This role requires the ability to operate plant and equipment within our cemeteries which includes undertaking daily work in an emotionally charged environment, while understanding the impacts of the grieving process in the cemetery setting.

As the Cemeteries and Rock Pool Labourer, you will have experience working in a cemetery environment and operating plant such as an Excavator. This role will also assists in the maintenance of our Shellharbour Ocean Pool.

Other duties include maintaining Council grounds including mowing and maintenance of cemetery sites, digging for burials and set ups for the burial service to ensure our cemetery grounds are well maintained.

  • Permanent full time, 38 hours per week with 9-day fortnight 
  • Commencing salary range from $51,878.32 - $55,053.44 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)
  • Plus Adverse Working Conditions Allowance & 9.5% superannuation
