Civil Leading Hands (2 Positions)

Do you have experience leading a crew in delivering Construction and / or Maintenance of Civil Infrastructure

Our Construction and Maintenance team are looking for 2x Civil Leading Hands experienced in the delivery of various construction and maintenance projects across the city.  

  • One of the Leading Hands will primarily focus on Construction and the delivery of capital works projects including Concreting shared paths and kerb and gutter, stormwater renewal and upgrades and car park and minor road reconstruction projects. In this role you should have experience leading a diverse team in the delivery of similar projects.
  • The other Leading Hand will primarily focus on Maintenance and leading a diverse team while balancing competing priorities and multiple smaller scale works to deliver quality maintenance outcomes across Council’s asset base. These works may include footpath and kerb and gutter repairs, signage maintenance and installation, traffic facilities maintenance and upgrades and on occasions supporting the delivery of larger capital works in Construction.

  • Permanent full time positions, 38 hours per week with access a 9-Day fortnight 
  • Commencing salary range from $56,222.40 up to $62,209.16 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)
