Children's & Youth Librarian

An exciting time to be part of the vibrant Shellharbour City Libraries team! 

This role provides an opportunity to work collaboratively as a key member of the Library Programs & Partnerships team to support the delivery of library programs for young people across all our libraries 

You will engage and partner with local community organisations that provide services for young people and manage the library's children’s and young adult collections, keeping them vibrant and relevant to the needs of our young people.

Working in a progressive and supportive team, you will champion the role of the library in early literacy and learning outcomes.

  • Full time, 35 hours per week with access to flexi-time 
  • Temporary position up to 12 months (Parental Leave)
  • 7 day roster including evening and weekend shifts 
  • Commencing salary range from $69,032.60 - $73,257.60 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience), plus 9.5% superannuation

Please Note: This position requires a Working with Children Check clearance (WWCC).
