Council’s Community Life Team are looking for an experienced and skilled Aboriginal Community Liaison Officer (ACLO) to join the team and play a key role in facilitating great outcomes for Community, Council, Councillors and our Customers.
The role:
The Aboriginal Community Liaison Officer (ACLO) is responsible for coordinating and delivering a range of community development and capacity building initiatives such as Reconciliation and NAIDOC events, Aboriginal employment initiatives, supporting the Aboriginal Advisory Committee and advising on Aboriginal culture and heritage and social justice matters.
