Shellharbour City currently has three urban release areas with an exciting opportunity to play a role in the development assessment of the areas and their town centres. 

The role:

As a Senior Development Assessment Officer you will use your extensive experience to assess and determine complex development applications and provide coaching and guidance to staff. 

Opportunities may be available to work within the specialist Urban Release team and Development Assessment team.

Our team provides an exciting opportunity to work in a flexible contemporary environment in a Local Government area currently experiencing rapid growth.  We are seeking two dynamic, enthusiastic, skilled and experienced people to join us and be part of a senior group that will be part of the City Development - Planning team through a historic and dynamic period of growth.

We offer:

  • Full time positions, 35 hours per week with access to flex time
  • Salary up to $1858.28 per week depending on qualifications, skills and experience, plus 9.5% superannuation
  • Fully Maintained leaseback vehicle or vehicle allowance may be offered
