Learning and Development Support Officer

We are looking for a detail oriented Learning and Development Support Officer to provide high quality administrative support to help coordinate training and development initiatives across Council. This role is central to ensuring our workforce receives adequate compliance and development training and learning opportunities.  

This is a 6 month opportunity, reporting to the Learning and Development Team Leader, you will act as the central contact for enquiries and manage our Learning Management System (LMS). 
Key responsibilities include scheduling calendar invites for training and recording attendance, liaising with presenters and training room bookings, investigating training programs and supporting employment programs such as inductions and compliance training.

Our ideal candidate will have;

  • Certificate III in Business / Business Administration or equivalent experience completing learning and development tasks
  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders and build positive relationships across the organisation
  • Proven administration and document preparation experience 
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing deadlines with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to adapt to new software
