About the role

As the Sports Programs Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and delivering a variety of sports competitions and development programs at Shellharbour City Stadium. Your expertise will help shape the future of community sports, providing engaging and high-quality experiences for participants of all ages and abilities.

In this dynamic role, you will work collaboratively with local schools, sporting organisations and community groups to encourage optimal participation and success in all our programs. Your enthusiasm will inspire coaches, referees and athletes while maintaining a strong focus on customer service and community engagement.

Our ideal candidate

We seek a passionate and dedicated individual with a strong background in sports management and community program development. If you’re someone who thrives in a team environment and is excited about making a positive impact through sports, we want to hear from you!

  • Qualifications in business administration or sports management, or extensive experience in a similar role. (Qualifications include education completed after high school, such as degrees, diplomas or certificates from University, TAFE or other registered training organisations.) 
  • Current First Aid and Advanced Resuscitation Certificates.
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence.
  • Cash Handling experience.
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering sporting programs for diverse communities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

Your commitment to safety and your understanding of workplace health and safety principles will ensure a secure environment for all participants. 

What we offer

  • 2 x permanent part-time positions, 21 hours per week (Monday to Sunday) with variable work hours to help you balance your schedule.
  • Commencing salary range from $37,548 to $39,846 per annum (for 21 hours a week) 
  • Plus 12% superannuation

  • A current "Working with Children Check" clearance in accordance with the 'Child Protection (WWC) Act 2012 for Paid workers
