Team Leader Library Programs

Shellharbour City Council has an exciting leadership opportunity for a creative and dynamic individual with a passion and flair to inspire community participation in our Library programs. 

In this role you will be leading the Library Programs team to deliver exceptional programs that support diverse groups in our community, providing lifelong learning and social connection. You will champion the activation of our vibrant library spaces located in Shellharbour City, Warilla, Albion Park, Oak Flats and Shellharbour Village while actively embracing internal and external partnerships, continually exploring opportunities for collaboration.

Reporting to the Manager Libraries and Museum and based primarily in the Shellharbour City Library, you will be joining an energetic and innovative team that’s focused on providing welcoming and vibrant libraries for our community and customers.

  • Permanent full time, 35 hours per week with access to flexi-time 
  • 7 day roster including evening and weekend shifts
  • Commencing salary range from $86,720- $90,223 per annum (based on qualifications, skills and experience)
  • 11.5% superannuation

Please Note: 

  • This position requires a National Police History Check clearance.
  • This position requires a current "Working with Children Check" clearance in accordance with the 'Child Protection (WWC) Act 2012 for Paid workers
