Pool Supervisor

Location: Shellharbour City Centre

You will assist the Team Leader's with coordinating and supervising pool operations at Council's controlled swimming pool and aquatic facilities, in order to promote an active and healthy lifestyle for our customers and community.

You will also play a key role in maintaining cleanliness and functionality of the pool facilities and promote the image of Council as both efficient and courteous and provide quality customer service.

This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively lead a team of lifeguards and manage day-to-day operations across all aquatic facilities within the Shellharbour Local Government area working various shifts over the week including weekends and public holidays.

  • Permanent full time, 38 hours per week rostered over Monday to Sunday
  • You will be required to work weekend, evening and public holiday shifts 
  • Commencing salary range from $65,965- $70,002 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)
  • Plus 11.5% superannuation

Please Note: 

  • This position requires a "Working with Children Check" clearance in accordance with the 'Child Protection (WWC) Act 2012'
  • A first aid certificate is an essential requirement of this position, therefore no allowance is payable
  • You will need to complete a Pre-placement Medical Assessment
  • You will need to pass a Fitness and Skill assessment
