The role:

Are you a passionate and driven person with experience, skills and qualifications in financial and/or business leadership, development and planning plus financial analysis?

The role is responsible for the development and implementation of business plans and business opportunities within the Council Sustainability Directorate as well as working with other managers and stakeholders to ensure that all areas of the Directorate operate in a business like manner to achieve financial viability and sustainability.

Key business enterprises include the planning and developing the future management frameworks and pursue business opportunities for Shellharbour Airport, Shellharbour Beachside Holiday Park, The Links Shell Cove and other businesses within the Council. 

This role sits in the Business & Investment team, a unique and diverse team within Council who are responsible to look for opportunities in Council's economic and business development, property portfolio management and tourism within our local government area. The team strive to achieve building connections to our local business community to provide strategic initiatives and operational outcomes.

 

We offer:

  • Full time position, up to 35 hours per week with access to flexi-time
  • Salary up to $1,786.12 per week, plus 9.5% superannuation
